If your flight arrives late, the day can be kept simple so you have time to rest after your journey.

Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 2 :

Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen

After breakfast, begin with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of Morocco’s most impressive landmarks, known for its oceanfront setting and detailed Moroccan craftsmanship.

After the visit, drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Depending on timing, visit Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the old medina.

Continue north toward Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Arrive in the late afternoon or evening and enjoy free time to walk through the blue-painted streets near the main square.

Day 3 :

Chefchaouen → Fes

After breakfast, enjoy a short walk in Chefchaouen before leaving for Fes. The route passes through northern countryside, mountain landscapes, and small towns.

Arrive in Fes and meet your local guide for a visit of the old medina, depending on timing. Possible visits include the artisan quarters, Nejjarine Square, the tanneries, the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish quarter, and panoramic viewpoints over the medina.

Day 4 :

Pass through Erfoud and Rissani before reaching the Merzouga area near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Depending on your arrival time and preference, you can reach the desert camp by camel ride or 4x4 transfer.

Day 5 :

Merzouga Desert → Todra Gorge → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
