Upon arriving in Casablanca, our representative will meet you at the Arrivals Hall and transport you to Le Casablanca Hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, rejuvenating in the spa, or catching up on some rest after your flight. Regather in the bar for some cocktails, before indulging in a Hosted Welcome Dinner. Sleep tight in the comforts of our hotel for the night.
This morning, we will take a tour of Casablanca before sitting down to a romantic lunch at Rik’s Cafe. Inside the cafe, you are transported back in time to the 1940s. After lunch, our travels take us to Marrakech, where we will stay at a stunning Riad for four nights. To cap off the day, we gather on the rooftop for sundowners and dinner by candlelight.
After breakfast, we will be driven to the world-renowned Marjorelle Gardens. This captivating garden is home to the vibrantly colored villa once belonging to the painter Jacques Majorelle. With an abundance of cacti, bamboo, and other rare, exotic plants, it was the dream of the fashion designer Yves St Laurent – whose wish, upon his death, was to have his ashes scattered near the villa – to bring the gardens back to life. Now a major attraction in Marrakech, visitors are invited to explore and appreciate the tranquil atmosphere of this spectacular garden.
Following lunch at a delightful eatery, we will return to the Riad for a swim and some down time. Later, we will embark on a guided tour of Jemaa el-Fnaa at sunset. A famous market and popular gathering point, Jemaa el-Fnaa has stood in the center of Marrakech for over a thousand years. During the day, you can find stalls selling orange juice, spices, traditional medicines, mint leaves, and even snails. As the sun begins to set, Jemaa el-Fna is filled with the sweet sound of Berber musicians, Gnaoua dancers, acrobats, and storytellers – all of whom come together to perform and entertain. As the night progresses, henna tattoo artists and tooth-pullers can be seen in the bustling square, as well as slapstick comedians, poets and more.
Today, we explore the labyrinth of bustling alleyways and narrow streets that make up the souk of Marrakech. Here, merchants offer one of the widest ranges of items, from spices and sandalwood, to baskets and lanterns, to clothing and leather goods, to furniture and fabrics, pottery and more! Known as the largest in Morocco and renowned globally as one of the most wondrous places for shopping, the souks of Marrakech will no doubt exceed your expectations! Even if you’re not in the market for any purchases, the phenomenal atmosphere here is worth the experience alone.
This morning, we’ll be exploring the House of Photography Museum – Maison de la Photographie – where a journey through time awaits us. We’ll be treated to a glimpse of the Marrakech of the 19th Century with their changing exhibitions of photographic treasures. After, we will get to try create our very own exotic and Arabian-inspired perfume at the Medina’s Perfume Museum. From flask distillation to perfume organ composition, the museum will guide us through each step of creating a unique fragrance of our own. Following our exploration of the museum, you’ll have the afternoon free to explore the Souks, shop around, or simply relax at our stunning Riad.
This morning we set off on a wonderful adventure: a journey on a classic sidecar! With the help of an old map, our local Guide will show us both the city’s landscape and a custom itinerary. Put on your helmet, slip on your shades, and jump on-board! In Marrakech’s amazing maze of alleys, the ancient French quarter, or the mythical palm grove, there are bound to be surprises lurking around every corner. A vibrant flea market, secret gardens behind closed doors, and classical Art Deco structures in the palm grove are just a few of the many secrets we will unveil during this unique outdoor excursion.
This afternoon, it’s all about the hammam! The ritual of the hammam draws on ancient purification and beauty methods that have been around for centuries. To create these treatments, we’ve done our research on the history of thermal baths, and uncovered the beauty secrets of Moroccan women who have been practising this thousand-year-old art. So, let’s surrender ourselves to this luxurious experience in a hammam, where the treatments are just as mysterious and captivating as they have been for centuries.
Finally, we’ll finish off with a tea service in the garden. Choose from either a British, French, or Moroccan-inspired table setting. Each of them are delicious, so let’s make sure to pick different ones so we can sample them all!
After our delicious breakfast, we will explore further and transfer to the bustling entrance of the port on the Atlantic coast of Essaouira. Here, we will have a private lunch at an amazing villa on the outskirts of the town, complete with local wine. When we have checked-in, we can witness the art of the local fishermen as they haul in their daily catch and arrange it out proudly, like a traditional fishmarket. You may also prefer to relax and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings, complete with a refreshing cocktail by the pool.
This morning, we will take a journey to Essaouira and immerse ourselves in its UNESCO World Heritage site of imposing ramparts and seawalls. Here, we will find vibrant artworks and visit local pastry shops to sample traditional Moroccan treats. Essaouira’s blue skies, cool breeze and peaceful atmosphere will relax and calm us as we explore its boutiques and concept stores. We will end the day by strolling the Medina’s small alleyways with the rhythm of Gnaoua music in the air, mingled with the aroma of amber and sandalwood, the steam of couscous and the faithful prayer of the muezzin. Finally, we will return to our hotel for overnight.
We start the day with a leisurely morning, before transferring to our luxurious Tented Camp in the Agafay Desert. Once we arrive, we make our way to one of the nation’s premier wineries. Here, we will savor the delightful selection of wines and feast on a delectable lunch.
Our relaxing camp is nestled between the bustling city of Marrakech and the snowcapped peaks of the Atlas Mountains. It is here that we can truly disconnect from modernity and appreciate the beauty of our natural surroundings with the glimmering stars above us at night.
In the evening, we embark on an awe-inspiring ride through the desert on the iconic Arabian camel. Then, we all gather back at camp to share a sumptuous meal and the warmth of a crackling campfire. As we relax and enjoy the sounds of traditional Berber music, we can take in the beauty of the night sky and the tranquility of the desert.
This morning, our adventure takes us to the Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains, where we will stay at the heavenly hotel. Afterward, we will make a stop at the breathtaking restaurant for lunch and a bit of boutique shopping. The afternoon is left open to enjoy the scenery and simply unwind.
This morning offers an engaging experience in the High Atlas Mountains: we’ll meet local female artisans and visit a Berber village. Moreover, we’ll have lunch with a Berber family, and explore the pottery manufacturing.
Spend today relishing in your peaceful and serene environment, or pick an activity that sounds like fun. Spend time lounging in the pool, take a break in the garden with a good book, or just relax in the hammam. The spa is a place dedicated to contentment, rest, and beauty. Here you can enjoy a variety of services, including massages, hammam, facial treatments, and oriental manicure.
You can also explore the Nectarome Gardens, filled with aromatic, medicinal, and decorative vegetation. Learn about the various properties and uses of the fifty or so endemic plants in the Garden, in terms of beauty, health, cooking, and decorations. For more active entertainment, the hotel offers a range of outdoor activities such as trekking, biking, rafting, and horseback riding.
